According to the latest official data of the CCSO, 430,000 people were employed in the province. In the enterprise sector the numbers were as follows:

• in industry: 74 028 people

• in building 10 205 people

• in commerce and services: 22 223 people

• in real estate and company services : 6 994 people

• in restaurants and hotels 3 093 people

According to statistical data the average gross monthly pay in the enterprise sector was:

• in industry: 1 885 PLN

• in building: 1 821PLN
