LOCAL LABOUR MARKET

According to the latest official data of the CCSO, 430,000 people were employed in the province. In the enterprise sector the numbers were as follows:

• in industry: 47 127 people

• in building 6 537 people

• in commerce and services: 20 660 people

• in real estate and company services: 6 943 people

• in restaurants and hotelsi 1 177 people

According to statistical data the average gross monthly pay in the enterprise sector was:

• in industry: 2 008 PLN

• in building: 2 044 PLN

The rate of unemployment in the province was about 16%, which was equal to 75,700 unemployed people registered.
